| The Bay Area Hot Topixz Social Club Organized September 10, 2004 by a group of women of the Bay Area. Many of us are originally from the city and county of San Francisco. Our club was birthed from our experience of grief and loss of loved ones to violence. We wanted to do something that brought us together and gave us the opportunity to help others. We realized after our lost the emptiness and heartache of grief and how important it was to know someone really cared and was there to listen, support and assist. We accomplished our mission of togetherness and a vehicle for us to assist others who find themselves in the same situation. In the like we work hard to assist children, youth and families who lost a loved one to violence.
